Kara Seedai or Spice Seedai is one of the important neivedhyam dishes for Krishna Jayanthi festival and Thirukarthigai festival.  It’s a deep fried snack prepared using rice flour, urad dal flour and spices. Crispy outside and melting inside makes this kara seedai unique in flavor and texture. Vella Seedai, Uppu Seedai, Aval Puttu, Nei Appam are the most important Prasad we offer to Lord Krishna on Krishna Jayanthi.
